About the Role Our Client is seeking an experienced Test Manager to lead the delivery and acceptance of all technology infrastructure testing across multiple projects.
The role involves providing expert advice on process improvements to reduce defects and ensuring that risks associated with new system implementations are accurately quantified and addressed.
Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Administer testing scripts to maintain compatibility with existing applications, hardware, and devices, and support quality assurance activities aligned with quality experiences.Lead, motivate, and develop the Testing Team through day-to-day and formal performance management processes to deliver fully tested fit-for-purpose solutions and deliverables.Manage the testing lifecycle end-to-end within the Program/Project, including developing the test plan, mitigating risks to system quality, and obtaining stakeholder support for the plan.Undertake Defect Management by managing the retesting of defects through to correction and acceptance by system owners, monitoring outstanding defects using Quality Centre (QC) and JIRA.Testing Activities: Undertake testing activities as required, including developing testing documents and executing test plans/scripts to support the test team.Prepare and submit detailed test reports to describe testing outcomes and assist engineers in the removal of defects.Skills and Experience: MUST BE AN AUS CITIZEN OR PERMANENT RESIDENT OR NZ CITIZENPreferred industry experience: Public Sector / ITExperience in cloud testing, including the use of cloud infrastructure for software testing, load and performance testing, and production service monitoring.Ability to develop and implement Infrastructure Test Strategies, plans, approaches, and testing processes for User Acceptance and End-to-End (E2E) testing, including non-functional testing such as infrastructure, network, security, DR and failover testing.Test Automation and Performance Testing: Proficiency in Infrastructure Test Automation frameworks and Performance Test frameworks.Ability to undertake Defect Management by managing the retesting of defects through to correction and acceptance by system owners and monitoring outstanding defects using relevant tools such as Quality Centre (QC) and JIRA.Relevant certifications desirable such as Certified Cloud Tester - Foundation Level (CCTFL), Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900), Google Associate Cloud Engineer.How to Apply If you're ready to take on this exciting opportunity and join the team, please apply here or alternatively, you can email Ethan from our Sydney office at ****** quoting Job Reference 543542 to register your interest.
