The successful individual would typically be a very experienced Test Manager, (not a Senior test analyst or a Test lead) with hands-on experience in defining Testing Strategies for Projects and Programmes, preparing Test plans, managing test executions by leading a team of Test leads and testers and reporting Testing deliverables to stakeholders.
Purpose: For defining, developing and leading test and test automation delivery across the Asset Management solution portfolio to ensure Test Quality standards are met. This role is the primary point of contact for the client and its service providers for all testing services and will be required to provide subject matter expertise, guidance and advice to ensure all requirements are met.
The targeted outcomes include but are not limited to the establishment of testing and test automation strategies, guidance, support and education to internal and external providers and overall governance to ensure Western Power's testing and test automation strategies are met.
Owning the test strategy that defines test objectives, organization structure, planning, execution processes, coverage scope, reporting methods, risk management, and tool usage.Co-ordinate the execution of test plans.Approving the quality of the Application, factoring in considerations like compliance, performance, security, usability, and scalability.Contributes to the development of quality, test and continuous integration capabilities to ensure that the approaches and test strategies are followed and only high-quality, maintainable solutions are developed.Collaborating with customers through providing thought leadership and expertise on complex test management and successful UAT.Collaborating with product managers, product owners, business analysts, Tech leads, Infrastructure Lead, DevOps/Software Engineering Lead, Solution architects, implementation team lead, project managers, etc., while planning and undertaking the full lifecycle of testing activities on a project and providing guidance to test leads and assessing test plans.Coordination of onshore & offshore testing and quality assurance.Representing the testing team at delivery leadership meetings.Manage the identification and analysis of product/solution failures and associated trends and report efficiently.Understanding of Automation testing as well as the usage of test tools effectively to undertake test, integration and verification including diagnosing problems and analysing results.We welcome applications from all members of society irrespective of age, sex, disability, sexual orientation, race, religion, or belief.
