Our client is a Queensland Government department and they are currently seeking a Test Manager to join them on a contract through to the end of the financial year with a 12 month extension on the table as well.
This role is based in Brisbane CBD + flexible WFH on offer as well.
Responsibilities of the role include: Developing and implementing the project Test Strategy in an agile project team, aligning with departmental requirements.Defining the scope of functional and non-functional testing within the context of each release.Develop Test Plans for activities, dependencies and resources required to mitigate the risks to system quality, seeking relevant support for plans.Modifying test plans and activities when new or changed requirements arise in the agile development environment.Contributing to sprint planning and estimation.Preparing, deploying and managing resources for testing (system, integration, performance, security, etc).Designing appropriate test measurements and metrics for the product.Planning and managing the readiness of test environments.Undertaking testing activities as required including executing test cases and recording results.Managing the tools for test management, test automation, defect tracking and reporting.Leading preparation of Test Cases, then managing resources to execute test cases or executing them as required.Performing system, integration, load and performance test execution.Tracking and reporting on testing activities including test case coverage, required resources, results, defects and their analysis, performance baselines etc.Leading and engaging stakeholders (internal and external) to meet testing outputs for solution readiness and deployment.Contributing to effective, client-focused teamwork by developing an understanding of the roles and duties of team members and working collaboratively to achieve outcomes with a commitment to quality deliverables and customer service.To be considered for the role, click the 'apply' button or for more information about this and other opportunities please contact Emma Metzger on +617 3339 5618 or email ****** and quote the above job reference number.
