You will have an opportunity to test software and hardware designs that impact the products and services within the gambling industry.While experience in this specific role is not required, we are looking for someone with an eagerness to learn and a keen eye for attention to detail, who enjoys working in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Developing an understanding of technical requirements/regulationsDeveloping an understanding of client's expectations and additional testing requestsLearns and properly utilizes various internal tools used for project tracking and management.Researching, identifying and applying any special rules or other requirementsAccurately developing and executing test methods for technical and client requirementsEffectively documenting test results and discovered defectsManaging projects and tasks against budgets and timelinesCommunicating and Coordinating with Clients by:Developing and maintaining professional relationships with all assigned customersMaintaining an understanding of the customer's needs and market positionProactively communicating the status of testing with all relevant internal and external partiesExperience, Education, Skills and Credentials:Bachelor's Degree or 4 years equivalent experience in engineering, science, math or other technical areas strongly preferredAssociate degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or 2+ years of equivalent experience may be consideredCertification, formal training or experience may also be evaluated and considered in lieu of educational requirementsValid Driver's License requiredKnowledge of C++ or other modern, object-oriented programming language(s) is requiredWorking knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is requiredMust be able to read, write and speak English fluentlyMust have excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to effectively and professionally speak orally and in writing with both internal and external partiesMust demonstrate a high degree of attention to quality, details, correctness, and deadlinesMust be able to pass a thorough background check.Location: These are in-person, full-time positions based out of our Adelaide office.Schedule: Normal hours are Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week.Pay: AUD 33.40 per hourTravel: Up to 5% travel may be required, to other Australia office locations or for field work.Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) is a gaming company.
Any of our employees may be required to obtain a gaming license within one or all of the gaming jurisdictions.
