We are working with a large federal government agency to fulfill vacancies for Test Engineers and Senior Test Engineers.
Senior Test Engineers ensure that ICT solutions improve quality, performance, architectural and functional requirements and are fit for business purpose. They ensure that all test effort activities are effectively completed and carried out in accordance with agreed test guidelines. Senior Test Engineers work under the limited direction of senior staff, exercising both initiative and judgement in the interpretation of policy and in the application of practices and procedures. Decision making is dependent on judgement, skills and knowledge. They manage and organise their own work in the context of competing priorities, including contributing to business planning, changes in workplace practices and innovative improvement strategies. Senior Test Engineers may manage a team.
Test Engineers ensure that their test effort is effectively executed and that allocated activities are completed in a structured, consistent manner in accordance with agreed test guidelines. They use their in-depth knowledge to provide technical advice and development to less experienced testers. Test Engineers work under the general direction and support of senior staff, exercising a degree of independent judgement and making decisions within defined parameters that require reliance on skills and knowledge. They plan their own work and contribute to teamwork goals in the context of competing priorities, and changes in workplace practices and business improvement strategies.
Primary Knowledge/Skills/Systems/Tools required for role include: Experience with SAP CRMDue to client requirements, we are unable to consider any candidates without Australian Citizenship. AGSVA Security Clearances are highly desirable.
