Reporting to the Site Serial Test Manager, the Test Engineer is a critical part of the team, working with a range of other experts and colleagues and carries out the test of trains in accordance with the testing procedure and as per the delivery schedule.
The core responsibilities of the Test Engineer include: Understanding, applying, and responding to the relevant testing in accordance with customer requirements and test proceduresPerforming test execution and troubleshooting activities on trainsDeveloping standard operating procedures and relevant documentation for test operationsCoordinating with the design team to mitigate design issues and other teams including production, safety, quality to ensure on-time delivery obligations are metAdhering to and promoting the constant respect for safety, protocols, and procedures across all activitiesManaging the repair of failures and escalating inconsistencies where requiredSeeking out and proposing process improvements or efficienciesAbout you We are firstly looking for a great team player who enjoys working alongside other colleagues to achieve a common goal.
