Join our Testing and Commissioning team on a max-term contract of 12 months based in Perth, Western Australia.
The Testing and Commissioning Engineer with experience deploying software on CBTC system will be working in our Perth offices and will be required to travel to Port Hedland once a month when in charge of leading testing activities.
Key ResponsibilitiesCreate/review technical documentation, such as test plans, test specifications, test procedures and test reports.Develop the test program and coordinate the activities with different parties and the necessary resources to achieve the objectives in quality, time, and cost.Lead Testing from the Operations Centre and liaise with train control, Onboard and Wayside testers.Prepare the test methods and execute the static and dynamic tests of all the trainsets in accordance with the Test procedures agreed in the project.Manage all faults and issues raised during the testing phase and work in collaboration with the relevant project experts and contractors in the analysis and resolution.Qualifications, Skills, and ExperiencePrevious experience in Test & Commissioning (T&C) activities (CBTC) for signalling projects (ATC, DCS).Proficient in communicating over the radio, resolving issues and taking instructions from the Test Management Centre.Experience liaising with the client side and interfacing with technical teams.Ability to build rapport with suppliers, customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.Tertiary Qualification in Engineering – Electronics/Electrical/Computer Science.Applications are now open until 15 Sept 2024 with shortlisting to commence upon application.
