Responsible for providing expert advice and guidance around the testing processes, the compliance needs and potential risks involved around the testing practice, the Test Automation Lead will also maintain significant technology and business know-how around the applications and technologies they are involved in and advise projects on how to plan the testing effectively.Some of the key accountabilities for the role include:Testing practice according to company guidelines.Advising on best practices for testing within their domain.Advising on testing related risks and their preferred treatments.Collaborating with Test Analysts and Test Engineers, project teams and stakeholders.Maintaining and enforcing testing practice compliance.Providing feedback and recommendations to improve software development and testing processes.Providing feedback about tested work items meeting company guidelines and standards.Collaborating with projects and business teams to maintain detailed knowledge about the technology they advise on.Who are you?In order to be considered for this twelve-month, maximum term opportunity with the potential for extension, candidates will need to possess a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other related field and have at least five (5) years' experience as a Test Engineer, or other similar role in software testing.The successful candidate will be detail-oriented and analytical with well-honed problem-solving skills.
