Locations Options: Canberra, Sydney (Penrith), Melbourne (Box Hill), Brisbane. Remote Desktop Application may be used, where required and only if approved by the Project Manager.
Travel may be required on an ad hoc basis to attend associated workshops and meetings.
Baseline Security Clearance is a must.
Role Overview
The role of a Test Analyst is important to ensure that software or systems meet specified requirements and function correctly. A Test Analyst in the Delivery Assurance team will work with other test analysts in scrum teams to prepare, manage, and review testing documentation ensuring relevant strategies, plans, and management of risks are considered and follow best practices. Test Analysts support scrum teams to maintain and adhere to quality test standards.
Responsibilities include:
Reviewing and executing, when required, function and system testing of the interfaces and systems.
Sourcing and analysing design documents and assisting in the preparation, peer-review, and execution of test scripts while supporting other testers in scrum teams to do the same.
Preparation, management, and review of testing plans and strategies ensuring relevant strategies, plans, and management of risks are considered and follow best practices.
Identification of opportunities and implementation for automation within software processes, using scripts that test functionality.
Managing complex issues, defects, and incidents and facilitation of defect triage ceremonies.
Contributing to agile planning and test communities of practices to improve test standards and practices.
Test execution, where required.
