We currently have an exciting opportunity within our Smart Infrastructure business unit for an experienced and motivated Sales Professional.
The role will be working within the building automation product sales group, based in our Sydney, NSW office.
Reporting to the Territory Sales Head, this role will be responsible for the growth targets of our HVAC product across several sales channels in New South Wales.
The sales channels include Siemens Solution Partners, Siemens Distribution Partners and BMS system integrators.
The primary function is to achieve annual sales targets with a focus on developing existing accounts and identifying new accounts in the assigned territory.
Together with our partner management team, you will be required to develop strong relationships with our Partners and support the strategic growth of those accounts – co-developing opportunities and introducing new innovative portfolios.
In addition, you will drive maximum territorial exploitation through distribution partners or directly to other BMS system integrators.
Your key responsibilities will include, yet not limited to:Performing all required Sales activities including;Evaluating customer requirements and developing a solution to meet those requirements together with the Technical Sales Support teamPreparing and submitting offers to customersNegotiating offers with customersBeing the customer advocate within the Siemens organisation, taking responsibility for all customer activities ensuring a timely and positive outcomePerforming sales administration tasks such as forecasting and reporting, pipeline management, CRM management etc.The ideal candidate will be highly motivated with experience in a selling role and be able to demonstrate a successful track record dealing with a variety of sales channels.
Having a technical appreciation of the Building Controls and Automation sector or mechanical HVAC systems is beneficial but not required.
You must be able to communicate effectively and be able to build strong relationships at all levels internally and within customer organisations.
