They do this by delivering improved seed genetics to farmers, developing and distributing high-quality corn, sorghum, canola, summer forage seed and inoculant products.

The company is committed to comprehensive pre-and post-sales technical service, together with broader farm management advice and support.

The Position:
Gentech Seeds plan to implement and invest into a new strategy within the Australian Dairy Industry, to increase productivity and profitability and decrease risk.
To compliment this strategy, GenTech Seeds are looking to recruit two new Territory Sales Managers to develop increased awareness, knowledge and understanding with resellers, influencers and dairy farmers of how maize, forage sorghum and silage inoculants fit into profitable dairy farm systems.

You will focus on:
Actively promoting, recommending and selling all Pioneer products Assist with connecting to a key farmer network and ensuring all customer activity is correctly tracked Work with resellers across your territory to develop, monitor and implement business plans and forecasting reports Work closely with the Dairy Specialists in the region to ensure aligned activity within the region and connect across the broader stakeholder relationships within GenTech Seeds Represent the business and brand at relevant industry functions and field days The Person:
We are keen to talk to you if you possess the following experience, skills and key personal attributes:
Demonstrated sales experience within the agricultural industry, including an understanding of the reseller network and partnering across the supply chain to end-users Experience working within a similar territory, and an appreciation of the dairy sector and relevant agronomic issues Sound commercial acumen with well-developed and proven sales skills Active networker with excellent relationship skills A positive and proactive team player Highly developed presentation skills Tertiary qualifications in agriculture preferred, although candidates with proven industry experience will be highly regarded Well-developed and effective communicator Proficient with Microsoft Office and Salesforce (or similar CRM package) These are outstanding opportunities for a candidate looking to be part of an exciting growth plan within the dairy industry.
There are two positions, one focusing on the Gippsland and Tasmanian markets and the other in the South Western Victoria and South Eastern South Australia hubs.

It is expected that you have experience working within these segments and will reside within the targeted geographic areas.
