Key Responsibilities Endeavour to attain and increase the sales targets, with preserved GP in the allocated territories; Actively research and look for new account customers; Strategically plan and prior arrange F2 F sales calls; Provide the National Sales Manager with sufficient notice for any unscheduled sales; Provide advice for CRM recording on the completion of each F2 F sales call including notes on discussion, follow up, and arrival and departure times; Provide an acknowledgment to every customer following every face to face visit; Prepare and co-ordinate GTMs with customers in remote locations to increase customer awareness, product training, and specific product launches to further sales results; Provide assistance to customers to train their sales staff with our products and industry knowledge; Provide support and necessary marketing material to customers in view of increasing sales; Contact and service the individual stores of national accounts as requested by the National Sales Manager; Processing of sales orders if designated CS personnel are not available; Continue to advance in product and industry knowledge in view of providing technical support to customers; Management of a specific product group (as directed) to be a field expert on quality issues, market intelligence, and to take responsibility for the overall sales growth of the product groups; Attend and support at trade exhibitions when required; Be acquainted with, and use to the full advantage, Phocas and other selling software to analyse target sales opportunities; Gain knowledge of market trends, opposition pricing, new product opportunities, etc, in view of acquainting management with market intelligence; Responding to customer requests and disputes; Successfully promote company USP's, ILD and Megarewards programs; Assist finance personnel with debt collection and all necessary customer information to assess creditworthiness; Advise relevant sales or procurement personnel of new product inquiries and/or sales leads and opportunities; Have an understanding of the company Account application and Credit Policy; Co-ordinate, select products, and manage monthly product training sessions; Maintain customer service in accordance with Company policy; Enter the records of all customer communications in the CRM; Up-sell and cross-sell where applicable; Abide by customer price files and provide pricing to customers according to the customer's price rules; Ensure daily/weekly/monthly specials are promoted during calls; Be acquainted with, and use to the full advantage all relevant business software programs used by the company; Participate in training and educational programs/courses as required and document and implement the benefits.
