We are looking for a high-energy Territory Sales Manager to join the Hanson team. Based in Nerang Quarry, you will be growing the business by implementing a regional sales strategy that is focused on securing new business and increasing volume with existing customers through delivering exceptional service offerings and creating opportunities to sell "value-add" products and services.
In your new role, you will: Generate new business and customers by ensuring the efficient follow up of all potential customer leads. Maintain an order book and pipeline of business activity from the existing customer base. Formulate, develop and coordinate the delivery of customer management plans for existing and potential customers that achieve mutual business outcomes. Complete structured call plans with prospects through face-to-face presentations and networking, ensuring effective communication of Hanson's value proposition. Collaborate with customer service and supply chain partners to ensure productive customer and business outcomes. Achieve territory/account sales volume and margin targets. Be actively involved with various industry bodies through attending relevant events and conferences. Regularly conduct market analysis and gather market intelligence within the industry. This role is a great fit for you, if you have: Experience in a marketing and/or sales role preferably in the construction materials industry and/or 2 - 3 years production experience. Exceptional sales and sales process management skills. Excellent product knowledge, including awareness of attributes and performance. Ability to effectively construct and deliver a deal with a diverse prospective and existing customer base. Strong presentation, negotiating and influencing skills. Excellent interpersonal and time management skills. Well-developed written and verbal communication skills. A high level of emotional resilience and a positive attitude.
