Medtronic Neurovascular develops and markets market leading medical technology, services and solutions to treat patients afflicted with Acute Ischemic and Haemorrhagic Stroke worldwide. Join our established, passionate, and supportive Neurovascular sales team, drive a successful territory and truly make a difference in patients' lives.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
Developing and implementing sales and business plans for specific hospitals across South Australia & Tasmania.
Establishing strong and ethical relationships with key interventional neuro-radiologists, neurosurgical, radiology and nursing staff and administration personnel.
Ensuring the highest level of expertise is attained and maintained by developing and maintaining comprehensive clinical and technical product knowledge. This will include understanding competitive products, features and strengths in relation to the company's product portfolio and organizing educational events.
Providing meaningful reports, sales forecasts and funnel updates to your National Sales and Business Managers. You will drive marketing plans, provide intelligence on account and competitor activity including potential sales leads, and information regarding product price or account activity to relevant head office staff.
Inventory management including consignment.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
A Bachelor's degree in Science, Nursing or Business related discipline is essential.
Proven sales experience selling into hospitals with a success track record in the medical devices.
Strong understanding of the Australia public and private healthcare system and experience working within Operating Theatres.
Solid clinical knowledge with the ability to build strong working relationships with key surgeons and other medical staff.
