A Day in the Life An exciting opportunity for an experienced Territory Manager to be an integral member of our highly successful Neurosurgery team in Melbourne.
You will represent a comprehensive and market leading portfolio with innovative solutions including: Neurosurgery Power, CSF solutions, AI, patient specific implants and an ecosystem of technologies which all integrate to drive efficiencies in cranial surgery.
Cranial and Spinal Technologies (CST) is the market leader in neurosurgery/spine power, spinal implants, robotics, and navigation.
We are redefining cranial and spinal procedures to reduce variability and improve outcomes with the goal of restoring long-term quality of life for more patients.
We are the first company to offer an integrated solution that includes artificial intelligence-driven surgical planning, personalized spinal implants, and robotic-assisted surgical delivery to make patient care more customized.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned: As a Territory Manager reporting into the Regional Sales Manager, you will: Promotes and sells Medtronic's products and services within an assigned geographic area and /or specific customer Provide technical and case support to customers in theatre Accounts to meet or exceed sales targets.
Responsible for developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders including distributors and healthcare professionals.
Responsible for pursuing leads, assessing needs and providing product services to maximize the benefits derived from Medtronic's products and/or services.
Promotes and establishes education of the company's products and/or services.
Conducts market research including customers and competitors activities.
Implements market development plans/strategies and changes as needed.
Communicates customer feedback on new products and/or modifications to existing products or applications to internal stakeholders including R&D, Operations and Marketing.
Provide technical and case support to customers in theatre Required Knowledge and Experience: A Bachelor's degree in Science, Nursing or Business related discipline is essential Proven sales experience selling into hospitals with a success track record in the medical devices Strong understanding of the Australia public and private healthcare system and experience working within Operating Theatres.
Solid clinical knowledge with the ability to build strong working relationships with key surgeons and other medical staff Self-motivated with a resilient attitude who strives to exceed customer expectations and deliver outstanding results Successful applicant will take part in a rotating on call roster to provide clinical support in cases that occur outside of normal business hours Physical Job Requirements The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.
