Job Title: Marine Territory Manager
Reporting to: National Marine Sales Manager
Permanent Full TimeAssigned Sales Territory: The position covers a marine sales territory that includes Western Australia (WA), South Australia (SA), and the Northern Territory (NT).Location: We are seeking a candidate based in SA or WA.Travel: This is a field-based role, with frequent travel required, including overnight stays.Remuneration: Base salary (dependent on experience) + super + fully maintained company vehicle (includes 100% personal usage) + bonus eligibility.How you'll make an impact Constantly strive for maximum customer support and Honda's share of Marine business.Achieve set wholesale and retail sales targets.Develop action plan for allocated territory, outlining sales and promotional objectives for the Dealer Network, Press, Boat Builders and Commercial/Government Operators.Responsible for managing and co-coordinating sales activities, service, parts and accessories amongst Marine Dealers.Support and promote all programs and incentive activities released by Honda.Develop and maintain strong business relationships with the Dealer Network, Boat Builders and Marine Media.Gain acceptance by Dealer Network as a consultant in all aspects of the business.Maintain consistent call schedule for Dealer Network.Maintain regular and detailed reporting including Dealer Network contact reports, Competitor activity reports and territory visit plan.Assist Dealer Network in developing advertising and sales promotional activities including attractive showroom displays, local shows and any action which could increase sales.Advise and assist Dealer Network in effective use of all daily operating controls, including internet-based programs and other management aids.Review Dealers' financial statements on a timely basis and outline plans for improvement. Report on financial situation of each Dealer to Management as required.Maintain customer satisfaction Index CSI program for allocated territory.Conduct regular product and systems training ensuring Dealers Employees are up to date with Honda's technology and selling techniques.What you'll bring to Honda Proven experience in sales and territory management.Passion for the marine industry.Experience within the Marine and or Power Equipment industry and business to business (B2B) sales knowledge is preferred.Strong relationship-building and consultancy skills.Excellent communication and organisational skills.Why Join Honda Australia?
