HR Products, a Valmont Company, has grown into one of Australia's largest wholesale irrigation distributors with an extensive dealer network across the country. Manufacturing, imports and distributes quality automatic irrigation equipment for agricultural, golf course, sports turf, landscape and home watering systems throughout Australia.
How you will contribute We are currently seeking a highly motivated Territory Sales Manager to join our HR Products division in Royal Park SA on a full-time basis. Reporting to the State Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining customer relationships within your respective territory, in order to drive profitable sales and maintain strong client retention rates. In this role, you will receive dedicated training and support from a team that has a wealth of experience and expertise within the agricultural space, with your day to day responsibilities being to:
Provide a high level of customer service, ensuring customers maintain a high level of satisfaction and confidence in our products, services and logistical execution.Carry a high level of integrity which aligns to the company values and ethics.Continually develop your irrigation technical knowledge, knowledge of our products and their uses as well as advancement in the irrigation industry generally.Assist customers and end users during the lifecycle of the sales process (including after sales) ensuring that questions, issues and troubleshooting is addressed in a prompt and professional manner.Communicate with and support Administration and Warehouse staff in a manner which is respectful and encourages teamwork and group achievement.Assist with processing warranty reports, product returns and logistic errors, providing prompt communication with Warehouse Manager & Supervisor.About you Prior experience providing technical sales advice and communicating with clients at a high level within the irrigation/agricultural space is preferred but not essential.Ability to utilise networking ability and build rapport with key stakeholders including site level, management and purchasing.Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, including strong empathy, negotiation & interpersonal skills.Some technical aptitude, with the ability to understand and support with quotes, proposals and tenders.Ability to work both remotely and in office, with significant travel associated with the role.Resilient and self-motivated, with the ability to manage competing priorities and work under pressure.To apply, please include your resume and cover letter in your application.
