OPPORTUNITY Covering Melbourne's South-Eastern suburbs, from Dandenong down to the Peninsula and out to Pakenham, the Account Manager role is responsible for developing and maintaining a sustainable and profitable customer base whilst adding value through food & beverage solutions to a broad range of customer segments and working within a company that prides itself on strong values. Your key indicators of success will stem from your experience within the FMCG industry, a strong sales process, effective time management, and sound commercial acumen.
The role will take on a hybrid responsibility in servicing our customer segments of foodservice. With the support of the customer service team, this exciting role will allow you to cross-sell, cross-promote & upsell from a wide range of products.

The ability to work with all departments of our business across customer experience, purchasing, operations, and finance who provide support for your sales targets is essential. You are required to possess a 'can do' attitude to ensure high levels of motivation in delivering exceptional customer service which enables strategic development of 'new business' and solid business continuity for existing customers.
Oversee, maintain, and develop the existing Retail and Foodservice within the territory areaDevelop & nurture the relationships with Restaurants, Pubs, Clubs, Aged Care, Hospitals (among many other clientele)Review daily sales reports to manage and coordinate work activityDevelop a daily/weekly/monthly call list and maintain information accuracy via the customer calling cardsWork closely with the specialists (suppliers/line managers/procurement) on account presentations and penetrationTo develop a target list of new customer development (pipeline) with your manager's supportReview monthly sales reporting with management to determine if goals and objectives are being met (KPI's)Communicate and manage trends/pricing & profitability models to ensure successful outcomesParticipate in all sales/marketing functions as they relate to company business objectives and focusesTo promote a positive attitude within the companyA strong desire to meet company goals and objectivesBENEFITS Work from home (up to 4 days per week)Starting base salary of circa $85,000 plus superannuationFully maintained company vehicle OR car allowanceBonus scheme subject to performanceExtensive support and resources from internal stakeholdersCANDIDATE To be considered for this role, B2B (business to business) sales experience is essential. Ideally, your experience has been obtained in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods sector (FMCG). You could be selling all manner of food & beverage products to businesses in Melbourne to be considered for this role. This includes:
