Territory Manager - Foodservice Sales

Account & Relationship Management (Sales) Full time Sandhurst Fine Foods is seeking a Territory Manager to drive sales of the foodservice business covering Melbourne Metro area and the Victorian Region.
This is a newly created position to service a growing market.
With a brand new facility located in Truganina Vic, the successful candidate will have a huge opportunity to sell the amazing product range!
Reporting directly to the State Manager, and working within a small team, responsibilities of this role include:
Developing relationships with Foodservice end users (new and existing) and some existing wholesale distributors.Taking daily new turn in orders anchoring Sandhurst Fine Foods products in pantries via the end user's distributor.Sampling and demonstrating products and their versatility to distributor sales teams as well as end users (chefs and catering managers etc).Providing promotional support.Driving marketing and brand awareness.Reporting Daily Sales Figures and Performance Against Budget Via Netsuite.Representing Sandhurst at National Key Account Conferences, events and award nights.We are seeking applications from proven sales professionals who demonstrate the following attributes:
Proven experience in a similar role (Foodservice industry preferred).A strong knowledge of the foodservice industry would be looked on positively.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build solid working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Commercial acumen.Business related computer skills including Microsoft Office.Hold a current, clean driver's license.
Please be aware that this role requires a significant amount of time on the road with some overnight stays required.This position is only available to candidates with permanent residency in Australia.
Shortlisted candidates will initially undergo a phone screen and, if successful, will be referred to a face-to-face interview with the State Manager.
At least 2 reliable referees will be required as part of the recruitment process.
