The primary focus is to get the consignment listings. Where the challenge lies is you will also act as a buyer, with training provided across the board and the use of a neat system-based valuation tool. The focus of the Territory Manager's role provides a unique mix of hunting new business with both new customers as well as seeking new opportunities with existing customers. Candidates that have the desire to hunt, cold call, generate referrals and aggressively prospect will be seen to have the advantage. Likewise, above budget performers who won't settle for an OTE income, but instead have greater aspirations, will also be favored. Once you have secured the client, they are yours to account manage in your territory. This means that after an initial focus of new business development, you will have account management responsibilities that will grow as your territory market share grows. You will need: To be a hunter of new business Exceptional sales skills Strong business acumen Experience selling or buying Earthmoving, Farming or Road Transport Equipment or Vehicles Any auction, retail or B2B sales experience in ANY OF THE ABOVE MARKET SEGMENTS is desirable The hunger to make HUGE money through your own consistent daily efforts The ability to work as part of a national and international team The drive to succeed and a "can do" attitude.
