We use gas, diesel and solartechnologies to provide power across the Territory.
Your New RoleAs the Maintenance Planner, you will lead the development and operationalmanagement of the maintenance planning team for all plant in Channel Island(CIPS) and Weddell (WPS) Power Stations.
Your accountabilities include: Plan preventative and corrective maintenance tasks for scheduling inthe monthly maintenance schedule.Liaise and coordinate with Assets Owners, Stakeholders andMaintenance Lead OMTs to ensure maintenance and repair activitiesare adequately developed with detailed information including the correct identification ofrequired labour, materials, equipment, and services.Develop and implement, in consultation with the Assets andEngineering and Operations and Maintenance departments, a short-term maintenance plan.Lead the establishment of a consolidated works schedule and drive thework management KPI monitoring.Supervisory oversight of the CIPS Inventory team and MaintenanceScheduler.Establish and maintain effective working relationships with key internaland external stakeholders.Carry out duties in accordance with Territory Generation's safety,environmental and quality policy, safety principles, corporate values,and strategies.Relevant AQF Cert III (Trade) electrical and/or mechanicalqualifications or equivalent skills, knowledge and experience.Sound knowledge and experience in planning and scheduling in powergeneration or heavy industry, particularly regarding resourcemanagement.Demonstrated ability in long- and short-term planning for assetmanagement and maintenance with computer-based maintenance andmanagement systems.Demonstrated abilities at a supervisory level in occupational health andsafety, quality assurance, continuous improvement, environmental andcontractor management.Excellent personal organisation and professionalism with the ability toprioritise and manage competing demands and deliver outcomes.High level of competence in the use of computer-based maintenancepackages, spreadsheets, and project management applications.Effective written communication skills, with the ability to preparereports, procedures, and other relevant documentation.Effective oral communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability tointeract effectively with people of diverse cultures.Ability to carry out duties in accordance with Territory Generation'ssafety, environmental and quality policies and corporate values andstrategies.Desirable skills & experience:Sound knowledge of Reliability Centred Maintenance and PlannedMaintenance Optimisation concepts.Experience with ERP System Pronto.Experience with operation and maintenance of gas or steam turbinesand auxiliary equipment.This is an ongoing role and requires Australian Citizenship/PermanentResidency or other eligible visa type.
