Territory Generation is the largest producer of electricity in the Northern
Territory with assets from Alice Springs to Darwin. We use gas, diesel and solar
technologies to provide power across the Territory.
Your New Role
As the Maintenance Planner, you will lead the development and operational
management of the maintenance planning team for all plant in Channel Island
(CIPS) and Weddell (WPS) Power Stations.
Your accountabilities include: Plan preventative and corrective maintenance tasks for scheduling in
the monthly maintenance schedule.Liaise and coordinate with Assets Owners, Stakeholders and
Maintenance Lead OMTs to ensure maintenance and repair activities
are adequately developed with detailed information including the correct identification of
required labour, materials, equipment, and services.Develop and implement, in consultation with the Assets and
Engineering and Operations and Maintenance departments, a short-
term maintenance plan.Lead the establishment of a consolidated works schedule and drive the
work management KPI monitoring.Supervisory oversight of the CIPS Inventory team and Maintenance
Scheduler.Establish and maintain effective working relationships with key internal
and external stakeholders.Carry out duties in accordance with Territory Generation's safety,
environmental and quality policy, safety principles, corporate values,
and strategies.Relevant AQF Cert III (Trade) electrical and/or mechanical
qualifications or equivalent skills, knowledge and experience.Sound knowledge and experience in planning and scheduling in power
generation or heavy industry, particularly regarding resource
management.Demonstrated ability in long- and short-term planning for asset
management and maintenance with computer-based maintenance and
management systems.Demonstrated abilities at a supervisory level in occupational health and
safety, quality assurance, continuous improvement, environmental and
contractor management.Excellent personal organisation and professionalism with the ability to
prioritise and manage competing demands and deliver outcomes.High level of competence in the use of computer-based maintenance
packages, spreadsheets, and project management applications.Effective written communication skills, with the ability to prepare
reports, procedures, and other relevant documentation.Effective oral communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to
interact effectively with people of diverse cultures.Ability to carry out duties in accordance with Territory Generation's
safety, environmental and quality policies and corporate values and
strategies.Desirable skills & experience:
Sound knowledge of Reliability Centred Maintenance and Planned
Maintenance Optimisation concepts.Experience with ERP System Pronto.Experience with operation and maintenance of gas or steam turbines
and auxiliary equipment.This is an ongoing role and requires Australian Citizenship/Permanent
Residency or other eligible visa type.
