An exciting opportunity awaits for an experienced Maintenance Planner - Dragline & Mobile Plant to join TerraCom's Blair Athol team. This Head Office based role will be responsible for the coordination, development and implementation of asset management and reliability plans, to meet the needs of the mine plan now and into the future. Your planned approach will positively impact production costs on site through effective planning (and associated purchasing) for all maintenance work schedules to meet agreed performance targets.
This unique position is offered on a Monday to Friday basis working from our new Brisbane CBD Headquarters with 3 days per fortnight and as required for major shutdowns on site at Blair Athol.
The role responsibilities encompass all TerraCom mobile assets, relevant hired assets and the TerraCom owned Dragline.
Specific responsibilities include: Preparation, issue and update of maintenance schedules for all maintenance and project activities consistent with achieving the plant reliability and operating cost targets set. Liaison with the site production team to identify the upcoming maintenance requirements. Liaison with the Maintenance Superintendent to identify the resources available for the execution of work orders. Converting the asset management plan schedules, service report findings and defect notifications into maintenance work orders. Processing and checking weekly maintenance compliance reports. Raising purchase orders for the provision of maintenance services and the supply of components. Engaging vendors and suppliers to track and control costs associated with off site repairs and component refurbishments. Monitoring component health through condition monitoring and communicate with Maintenance Superintendent on component condition and repair plans. Delivering the work schedules together with the work orders and associated documentation to the Maintenance Superintendent each week. Ensuring that all information for work order close out has been received and updates in Pronto are complete. Maintaining a backlog of work orders awaiting scheduling and provides a weekly maintenance report showing compliance with schedules and the level of backlogged work orders. Maintaining costs tracking of planned work in line with budget and prepare end of month costs reporting. What's on Offer Monday to Friday day shift only roster. Previous mining industry experience within a Maintenance Planning function. Active experience with Pronto. Cost conscious focus on planned maintenance. Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively resolve issues. Highly developed attention to detail. Advanced time management, planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage fluctuating workloads and priorities to meet objectives. A team player with well-developed interpersonal and communication skills. A trade certificate or tertiary qualifications in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering. Demonstrated experience with Pronto, Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project or similar maintenance packages. Proven experience with condition monitoring and oil analysis.
