About the RoleImmense opportunities will be available to you to learn all the aspects of fuel terminal operations at our Kalgoorlie Terminal. (Relocation and ongoing remote allowance provided during your time in Kalgoorlie). You will develop skills and experience in the areas of tank farm, product movements, rail cart unloading operations and reporting. This includes planning of product receipt by rail, unloading of product, and handling all the associated administration to ensure our clients supply-line is optimal. This position will work across the terminal's tank farm operations including manual stock take, product testing, and site maintenance inspections and leading regular contractors on site ensuring safe and reliable operations are always maintained for optimal terminal performance, in the areas of HSSEQ, efficiency, cost, stakeholder relationships and customer service. The role is highly varied between working outdoors around the site and in the office.
The role will work a roster of 8 days on and 6 days off, working alternate weekends. About YouThis role will be your starting point in a career in Fuel Terminal Operations, with the view to getting broader experience across the operations including control of works and shipping and working your way towards gaining your Certificate in Process Plant Operations. You will have a willingness to learn new things and enjoy a mixture of hands-on work and office-based duties (e.g., reporting, scheduling, reviewing work instructions). Working in a high-risk environment, you will have an ability to follow operational procedure, and good safety aptitude.
