We store and market wheat, barley, canola, sorghum and specialty commodities, connecting over 10,000 growers with more than 1,000 end-market customers across the food, beverage, edible oils and animal feed industries.

About the roleTerminal Operators at the Newcastle grain terminal are critical to ensuring that we deliver an efficient and safe service in exporting and importing grains and other commodities.
This includes wheat, sorghum, pulses, stockfeed and other products.
The core activities of a terminal operator include rail and road receival, shipping, road outloading, plant hygiene, bunker storage operations and grain assessing, among others.
As a member of a multi skilled work environment you will be expected to take on other activities within the plant in accordance with training and experience.

About your experienceWe're seeking individuals with experience in plant operations in any industry or the ability/willingness to do this type of work.
Additionally:
Good communication, teamwork and customer service skillsCapacity to work at heights and in confined spacesWillingness to undertake training to obtain fumigation licence and Dept of Agriculture Approved Officer statusIn addition to providing proof of working rights and suitable professional referees, preferred candidates will be required to undertake a pre-employment medical.
