Join a Leading Agribusiness in a Dynamic and Rewarding RoleLocated in Port Lincoln on the beautiful Eyre PeninsulaAbout the Role We're looking for enthusiastic, hardworking individuals to join our team at the Port Lincoln terminal in a permanent capacity.
We have a mix of permanent full-time and permanent part-time positions available.
These positions are key to the smooth running of our grain storage and handling operations, and you'll be at the forefront of it all.
If you enjoy hands-on work, solving problems, and being part of a supportive team, this role is for you.
You'll be involved in everything from operating machinery to maintaining high grain quality and contributing to export operations.
You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment where your efforts directly impact the success of the site.
Key Responsibilities Operate machinery: Load and unload trucks and use forklifts and other equipment.Grain quality control: Help ensure the grain meets the required standards.Assist with outturning: Support the bulk export program, via shipping loading.Maintain storage areas: Keep grain storage areas clean and organized.Lead and train: Help lead and assist seasonal staff during peak periods.Monitor and maintain: Oversee grain in storage facilities.General maintenance: Help with equipment upkeep and pest control management.About You Team-oriented: You enjoy working in a team and taking on new challenges.Good communicator: Strong communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.Leadership skills: Proven effective leadership and team building skills.Experience: Previous grain handling or similar experience is preferred, but not essential.Knowledge: Commodity classification preferred but not essential.Driver's licence: A current licence is preferred but not essential.Safety leader: You'll take pride in being a safety leader by prioritizing safety and consistently following procedures to ensure a safe working environment for everyone.About Viterra At Viterra, we're proud to be a leader in the Australian agribusiness industry.
