About the Role The Terminal Operator position aids the Terminal Manager in managing and controlling the safe and efficient operations to ensure that reliable operations are maintained, and that the needs of customers are met in a timely manner with due regard to HSSE, reliability, efficiency, cost, stakeholder relationships and product stewardship.
Your responsibilities include: Loading and unloading of finished product at our Fisherman's Island Lubricants Terminal Sampling product, tank gauging and monitoring site integrity, ensuring site is operated and maintained in a safe and reliable manner.
Supporting shipping and wharf operations at Bulwer Island Supporting terminal activities at our bulk fuel terminal at Whinstanes.
About You If you have previous experience in working in high-risk environments (oil & gas, mining, etc.), this is a big bonus, as safety is always our number one priority.
If you haven't worked in these industries, that's no problem as we provide all necessary training and value diversity of experience.
To be successful in this role you will have: Hold valid permanent work rights in Australia for this full-time position.
Ability to work in a team, and independently with minimal guidance (post sign off).
Ability to work day shift, with some flexibility to work nights as required.
Can do attitude and willingness to learn.
Great time management and organisational skills.
Ability to use MS Office (Outlook, Word and Excel).
