Terminal Manager - Mackay

About the Role Our Terminal Manager - Mackay is responsible for managing all terminal assets and operations, including shipping and gantry operations, with due regard to HSSEQ, reliability, efficiency, cost, stakeholder relationships, and customer service.
This role will ensure delivery of a cost-effective operation that adds value to ATOM as a bulk fuel storage and distribution link, whilst ensuring that benefits to stakeholders and partners are maximised. Our Terminal Managers are also responsible for generating operational and maintenance budgets, giving input into capital expenditure plans, and handling risk management as safety is our number one priority.
The managerial aspects of this role requires leadership, coaching and development of a small operational team of two staff and a few contractors to ensure best operational outcomes.
About You Being a go-getter with a strong team-playing attitude is essential, as are great communication, time management and organisational skills.
Leadership or people management skills and experience is required within a like or similar heavy industry, major hazard facility, and/or working with dangerous goods.
An eye for continuous improvement is a big plus, as is previous shipping, gantry or fuel handling experience.
