Tendering Specialist

Tender Project Specialist (Brisbane Office) Join a global EPC who are specialized in the delivery of Solar and BESS projects. They have a significant number of projects in their pipeline and plan to grow further. As the Tender Project Specialist you will manage EPC proposals submissions and contract negotiations for large scale Solar and BESS projects.
About You You're experienced in tendering, contract negotiations, bidding and business development. Ideally, you've spent a couple of years in the renewable energy sector and have knowledge of large scale solar and BESS. A degree in science or engineering will be advantageous.
Role Responsibilities As a Tender Project Specialist, you will manage the engineering, procurement, and construction proposal submissions and contract negotiations for large-scale projects.
Your responsibilities include: Tender Management: Assess tender documentation, plan and prepare compliant proposals, and ensure submissions are on time and within budget.
Coordination: Work closely with technical, commercial, and procurement departments to leverage my client's global capabilities and focus areas. Coordinate preliminary engineering and selection of main equipment and technologies.
Contract Negotiation: Collaborate with legal and construction teams to finalize contract schedules. Engage with clients to communicate expertise and understand tender requirements. Work with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain quotes and assess offers.
Project Preparation: Prepare tender documents, including budget preparation, execution strategy, risk identification, and construction schedule. Interface with clients and coordinate contract negotiations and due diligence processes upon project award.
