This role will provide the successful incumbent the ability to showcase their creativity and innovation in new cutting-edge ideas for tendering and marketing.Key Responsibilities:Team Leadership and Management:Manage the Tendering and Marketing team, ensuring they have the resources and direction needed to successfully support tenders across the business.Develop team skills in tendering, marketing, and communications to improve proposals, marketing, and brand reputation.Provide training and development to upskill the wider business in each Customer Stream, to successfully position and tender new works.Strategic Planning and Customer Development:Collaborate with Customer Streams to help formulate and execute strategic plans that align with our long-term objectives.Help map our existing customers to improve knowledge, enhance relationships, and improve serviceability.Assist in mapping new customers and develop and implement engagement plans.Analyse market trends and customer feedback to adapt strategies that meet customer needs and industry demands.Facilitate communication and collaboration across Customer Streams to ensure a cohesive approach to market and customer development.Tendering:Oversee and refine the tendering process, enhancing accuracy, consistency, and impact across the organisation.Implement best practices and harness technologies to streamline and improve tendering collateral and submission quality.Leverage technologies to improve tendering quality; investigate leading organisations in communications and proposals to learn and adapt into our business.Improve the manner in which McMahon Services communicate and negotiate proposals through presentations.Marketing and Strategic Communications:Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that increase brand visibility and market penetration through media channels and direct to the customer.Craft and manage strategic communications that reflect our aspirations and align with customer values and expectations, enhancing engagement and support from key stakeholders.Corporate Communications:Lead all aspects of internal and external communications, establishing a consistent and influential corporate voice that resonates with employees, customers, and stakeholders.Establish a unified voice across all communications, reinforcing our brand as a leader in the construction industry.Produce targeted messages that resonate across various audiences, including internal teams, clients, and industry partners.Skills & Experience:Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, communications, or related fields.Minimum 5 years' experience in tendering and bid management, stakeholder engagement, corporate communications, marketing management, or related disciplines.Extensive experience in developing strategic engagement and communications programs.Experience working across multiple projects and managing multiple internal and external stakeholders/clients.Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.Highly developed interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to build strong stakeholder relationships.Well-developed organisational and time management skills with the ability to deliver to tight timelines whilst maintaining accuracy.Knowledge of communications and marketing via social media to effectively target relevant audiences.A current driver's licence is essential, and a reliable vehicle is necessary.You must be willing to obtain a White Card and undertake necessary site inductions as required.Apply now:To register your interest, please forward your current resume and cover letter via the application link.Your confidential application will be acknowledged by email and shortlisted applicants will be contacted by phone from the Davies Stewart team.For a confidential conversation please contact Nick Harrington | 08 8232 8008.
