About the role The Bid Coordinator is responsible for the creation of comprehensive responses to calls for tender and quotations. Your role will be to assist our team to create and deliver high quality bid documents and aid in our continued success of winning projects in both the Commercial and Defence building sectors.
Responsibilities A detailed job description will be provided on request. Duties include but are not limited to:
Support Estimator to co-ordinate and prepare bid responses to client specifications, Create new Defence & Commercial Tender / Quote jobs as are requested within electronic filing and job costing systems and delegate works to available Estimator of works to be tendered / quoted Co-ordinate and organise with Estimators for tenders / quotations requests to be prepared and sent to contractors, including site visits and updating of electronic filing and job costing systems Source and compile non-technical content including CVs, company information, insurances and any other certification requirements, Format proposal documents ensuring strong brand compliance, Create document covers, dividers, diagrams, tables and graphs in line with our branding, Review proposal documents including editing, grammar and spelling prior to submission, Coordinate document production and delivery, Management of Tender and Quotation templates and continual improvement of bid submissions, Skills and experience Accurate writing skills with the ability to demonstrate a clear and concise manner, tailoring style and language to appropriate internal or external audiences Experience in managing the production of complex tender documentation Sound and effective organisational skills, including the ability to manage changes to technical requirements and prioritise work within tight timeframes Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to develop effective internal stakeholder relationships Experience in editing, formatting, clarifying and proofreading documents across the business and coaching skills to influence on ways to improve writing skills A commitment to quality outputs with a high degree of attention to detail and a customer first mindset Ability to sustain high level performance, problem solve and meet demanding work deadlines with limited supervision.
