The Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Tenancy Manager to join our team, focusing on supportive housing programs in Brisbane. In this role, you will manage residential tenancies across different programs, including those for families and refugees/asylum-seekers. Your responsibilities will include coordinating tenant services, managing relationships with agents and property owners, and ensuring properties are maintained to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee tenancy management services, ensuring compliance with Residential Tenancies legislation. Manage head-leased properties, maintaining strong relationships with real estate agents and owners. Coordinate tenant interactions from inquiry to exit, including rent collection and financial obligations. Collaborate with support services to sustain tenancies and achieve program outcomes. Ensure proactive communication with tenants and neighbors to promote tenancy sustainment. About You: Demonstrated experience in tenancy management, ideally within a supportive housing model. Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills. Excellent knowledge of Residential Tenancies legislation and dispute resolution techniques. Ability to work effectively in a team and independently, with a focus on delivering positive outcomes for tenants. Confidence in using tenancy management systems like Console Property and Tenancy Management. Understanding of chronic homelessness issues and the needs of vulnerable populations. The Offer:
