About CatholicCare NT and the Program CatholicCare NT is a Catholic social service agency established in the Diocese of Darwin. We provide services throughout the NT, including service centres in Darwin, Palmerston, Malak, Tiwi Islands, Daly River, Wadeye, Jabiru, Maningrida, Katherine, Tennant Creek, Alice Springs, Santa Teresa, Titjikala, Finke and APY lands. The Property and Facility Division within the Corporate Services Department delivers back-end support to program delivery. The goals are to provide support to achieve efficient operation and to implement effective compliance with regulations. About the role The Tenancy & Facilities Officer is responsible for providing property and facilities solutions and tenancy management in a specific housing portfolio for the program to meet its objectives. This position has a particular focus on administration support for Catholic Care NT (CCNT) and CCNT tenants are provided with the support they require to manage their tenancies; and will also help ensure operations of tenant and housing services are efficient and effective to sustain a successful tenancy. This role works with a range of internal and external stakeholders. What we are looking for Certificate IV in Real Estate Practice - preferrable but not essential. Experience in delivering tenant and property services or related field - preferrable. Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills including being able to connect and work with a broad range of tenants, support networks, internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrated cultural competency, particularly in working with Indigenous people. Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, SAP and relevant business and project management tools. Proven ability to comply with operational policies and procedures, codes, and regulations. Good problem solving, time management and attentional to detail skills.
