JOB PURPOSE Fixed-term contract till mid-Dec 2025
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Management Reporting
Support and ensure the completion and accuracy of month end close including balance sheet reconciliations and accruals for Tax liabilities, RSA/PSU, MTM for bonds and IFRS 9 ECL provision;Review of the month end accruals to ensure correctness and completeness.Prepare monthly Management Accounts and Financial Accounts;Prepare monthly, quarterly and yearly Head Office reporting such as tax schedules, PnL/DFE true up reporting, Supplementary Information Reporting for securities and Lease Commitments.Regulatory Reporting
Assist with the preparation of Year End Accounts and Financial Statements for local subsidiaries;Prepare tax related working papers and verify Income Tax Return, Country by Country (CbC) reporting and Fringe Benefit Tax - Liaise with the tax agent on queries and issues;ABS forms on a quarterly basis;Review GST (BAS) returns and prepare Income Activity Statement (IAS) returns to tax office on a monthly basis.Assist with yearend external audit and respond to auditors queries;Maintain Tax Fixed Asset Register and reconciliation of Tax vs Accounting at year end;Transaction Processing
Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions;Perform Accounts payable function if required.Daily checking of B2B reports and investigation of any system differences;Ensure the accuracy and compliance of accounting policies and processes including preparation of journal entries. Skills/Knowledge/Experience Required At least 4 years of relevant experience with financial institutionsGood interpersonal & communications skillsGood understanding of basic accounting concepts and billing/payment processesGood PC skills, including Excel, Word.
