This position calls for an efficient and diligent immediately available Temporary Credit Controller who will play a crucial role in the Accounting & Finance team, ensuring timely payments and maintaining accurate financial records.
Client Details Our client is a prominent not-for-profit organisation in the charity sector, with a team of over a thousand compassionate individuals. The company operates in Leeds and is committed to providing high-quality services to those in need, thereby making a significant impact in the community.
Description Ensure timely collection of payments in line with agreed payment terms. Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer details and account records. Manage and resolve any invoice queries, liaising with other departments where necessary. Conduct credit checks on all customers, establish and manage credit limits. Prepare reports detailing aged debt and collection activity. Contribute to the team objectives by meeting or exceeding collection targets. Work closely with the Finance team to improve processes and policies. Comply with all relevant financial regulations and charity sector standards. Profile A successful Temporary Credit Controller should have:
Strong experience in a credit control role A strong understanding of financial regulations and credit control procedures. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Good attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Strong knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel. A commitment to the ethos and values of the not-for-profit and charity sector. Job Offer An estimated hourly pay rate of 12 to 14 per hour. Immediate start role.
