Temporary Canteen Assistant

Skillset, in conjunction with a local food manufacturing business in Bathurst, are seeking immediate applications for a Temporary Canteen Assistant.
If you are passionate about providing excellent service and ensuring the smooth operation of a busy canteen, this is the role for you!
Candidates must be willing to undergo a pre-employment medical prior to commencement, including drug and alcohol screening. Key Responsibilities: Assist with the preparation and serving of food and beverages to staffMaintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dining areaMonitor food stock levels and assist with ordering supplies as requiredHandle cash transactions and assist in processing paymentsEnsure all food safety standards and health regulations are followedAssist in managing customer queries and providing excellent customer serviceWe are seeking individuals who: Have prior experience in a canteen, kitchen, or food service setting (desirable)Can thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage pressure effectivelyPossess strong communication and interpersonal skillsDemonstrate a keen attention to cleanliness and detailAre available for early startsHold a relevant food safety certification (desirable)Interested applicants are encouraged to apply immediately, as applications will be reviewed on an ongoing basis.
