Templestowe Lower, VIC 1 day Nanny (Monday)Contract – 12+ months long term preferredPay: From $35 per hour depending on experienceA professional and loving family in Templestowe Lower, VIC are seeking a nurturing and experienced nanny to care for their 2 children (4yr old girl and 12 month old baby boy).Note- Oct- Dec 2024 care is only required for the youngest and then from Jan 2025 care will be required for both children on the Monday.The days and normal hours are – 1 day per weekMonday 8.30- 3.00 pmA nanny who is kind and friendly but also nurturing, easy going, calm and patient.A nanny who is organised, can structure their day, follow the children's routines and provide fun, creative and stimulating indoor and outdoor activities that will assist in the children's development.A nanny who values children's safety, is trustworthy, reliable, adaptive, respectful and able to form a special bond with the whole family and stay on a long-term basis.The carer's responsibilities for this role will be as follows –To care for the childrenFollow the children's routinePlay and engage with the childrenTake the children to activities, i.e. playground, walks and to the park/playgroundsLight household duties – Light housework dishes, sweeping, wipe down surfaces as needed, laundry and folding if time allowsMeal and snacks through the day for the children and prepare/cook an evening mealThe family's expectations from their nanny are –Must have a minimum of 3+ years nanny or childcare experienceChildcare qualification (Preferred)Have a current first aid certificateHave a current Working with Children's checkDisplay strong communication skills and speak EnglishNon smoker/vaperChild safety practicesBasic cooking skills and food safety
