Temp Payroll Officer - Part-Time

The role
Reporting to the HR Group Manager, you will be responsible for processing payroll in a timely and accurate manner whilst utilising Pronto software.

Duties include but are not limited to:
Calculating wages and applicable deductions based on employee attendance and timesheet records Processing weekly and fortnightly payroll Preparing and processing termination calculations as required Maintaining payroll processing system and records  Answering all staff queries on wages, deductions, attendance, and time records as required Assisting in maintaining confidential employees records while also keeping internal records up-to-date Identifying, investigating, and resolving discrepancies in timesheet and payroll records Update/maintain internal databases as required. You have excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to prioritise important projects.  Capable of working with minimal supervision is a must along with competency with spreadsheets, accounting, bookkeeping and tax procedures.

Previous experience with Pronto Software will be highly regarded along with basic HR knowledge; a minimum 2+ years' experience in Payroll Processing is a must. NOTE:  24 hours a week will ideally be spread over 4 days (Thursdays off) to align with the payroll schedules. A handover period will be provided.
