About YOUR new job:
Reporting to the Divisional Financial Controller, you will be responsible for management and financial accounting services to meet divisional and corporate requirements. You will provide strategic business insights and commercial advice to assist the management team in reaching their business goals.
The core tasks aligned to this position will include:
Preparation of P&L accounts and balance sheet, including analysis of variances to budget and forecastCo-ordination & completion of the month-end process (includes communicating with other divisions & taking overall ownership of the month-end deliverables)Providing strong management accounting support to the State Managers together with supporting plant managers in analysis of resultsMaintenance of the Asset RegisterAssist with cash flow forecastingAssist the team in business partnering across the division
About YOU!
CA or CPA accountant or part qualifiedHas prior experience performing the above-listed tasksIs proven at helping non-financial stakeholders reach their business goalsCan bring their technical accounting skills to best understand the impact on business strategyHas strong MS Excel skills and prior JDE experience (preferred not essential)Has manufacturing industry experience (preferred not essential)Strong time management, administration and organisational skillsExcellent attention to detailPositive attitude and a strong work ethic
