What's the opportunity? The Clinical Adoption Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing change management strategies to drive uptake of new technologies and digital health innovations to achieve clinical and commercial outcomes. This role is pivotal in enhancing customer experiences and fostering innovation across Telstra Health's products and services, ensuring that our organisation remains competitive in the rapidly evolving digital health landscape. As a clinical excellence advocate and an architect of change across different healthcare contexts you will work closely with Telstra Health implementation, strategy, product, technology, customer success, sales and marketing teams to not only plan the transformation journey but also execute and manage the cultural shift needed for successful adoption of digital innovations in clinical settings.
About the role: The key accountabilities include:
Strategic Leadership of Digital Health Solutions Leading clinical engagements across various healthcare market segments (e.g., aged care, primary care, acute care, community care), including discovery and design phases, to identify gaps and opportunities for clinical process improvement and innovation in Telstra Health's products and services. Leading and managing digital health innovation and transformation projects from conception to implementation, utilising proven clinical change management approaches and redesign methodologies (e.g., Lean Thinking, Six Sigma). Communicating the core clinical value propositions and key differentiators of Telstra Health's technologies and digital innovations clearly and effectively to various internal and external stakeholders. Working cross-functionally to develop and deliver tailored product demonstrations and presentations to clinical end users, IT teams, and healthcare managers/executives and other healthcare stakeholders, both onsite and remotely. Working cross-functionally with product and technology teams to ensure that the design and development of innovations are clinically compelling, fit for purpose, and aligned with the real-world needs and workflows of different clinical end-users. Establishing and monitoring performance metrics for digital health initiatives to evaluate their clinical impact and effectiveness, as well as commercial outcomes. Performing other duties as required to support the success of digital health initiatives and clinical transformations. Change Management Support Conduct clinical impact analyses, assess change readiness, and engage key clinical and service delivery leaders to ensure smooth "go live" transitions. Create and implement strategies to support the adoption of clinical change management techniques internally and with external stakeholders, including communication plans and training programs as required. Identify and assess clinical risks associated with change initiatives, developing mitigation strategies to manage resistance and ensure successful adoption by clinical end-users. Share insights and expertise in clinical change management and digital innovations to shape industry trends and influence best practices through presentations, publications, and active participation in relevant forums and events. Communicate and Collaborate Collaborating with sales and marketing teams to develop and execute strategies that optimally communicate the clinical benefits of Telstra Health products and services in market. Collaborating with Telstra Health Customer Success Implementation (CSI) teams within a billable hour's model to ensure our products and services enhance clinical end-user experiences. Working closely with Telstra Health clinical governance teams to ensure that all digital health innovations meet required clinical standards and regulations. About you: Minimum 5+ years' experience as an APHRA registered (or equivalent) clinician in a multidisciplinary healthcare setting. Minimum 2 years' experience in digital health and/or clinical/health informatics. A passion for innovation and customer satisfaction. Demonstrated ability to credibly engage with a wide variety of clinical stakeholders. Experience and knowledge of clinical change management and/or clinical redesign methodologies, and tools. Experience and demonstrated track record in applying clinical change management principles, methodologies, and tools across a complex program, particularly change impact assessments, clinical and health service delivery stakeholder management, engagement, communication, and training plans. Tenacity and the ability to work with ambiguity. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to travel to customer sites as required. Desirable: Clinical and/or Health Informatics research experience.
