About The Role: We are actively seeking talented Telecommunication Riggers to join our dynamic team across Australia. As a crucial member reporting to the Team Lead Rigger, you'll lead a team in the installation, maintenance, and repair of external telecommunications equipment. With roles across WA, this exciting role offers the opportunity to work at heights and ensure strict compliance with client specifications, standards, and safety guidelines. Key Responsibilities: Installing, maintaining, and repairing telecommunications equipment, including pole and tower structures, mounting steelwork, RRU's, Antennas/Feeders/hybrids on towers/rooftops, terminating/re-termination of cables, and installation of earthing and labelling following client's specification. Working at heights and following client specifications and safety guidelines. Some experience of at least 2 of the TPG, Telstra, Optus OR NBN Fixed Wireless specifications, standards, and HSE guidelines. Interpreting technical design documents and installing equipment as per design. Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues. Working with Telstra, TPG, and Optus (4G/5G) equipment. Maintenance, upgrades, and strengthening of structures. Performing testing using PIM Tester, Spectrum Analyzer, Sitemaster, Fibrescope, and light source on Fibre cables. Assisting Technicians in installation, fault-finding, and rectification of equipment.
Requirements: Minimum 3 years' experience in the Telecommunication industry. Sound understanding of WHS requirements and responsibilities. Must be permitted to work in Australia. Construction White Card. Australian driver's license. Telstra, Optus, and VHA/TPG safety inductions. RADHAZ Awareness.
