Telecommunications (Information & Communication Technology) Full time Skyaus Infrastructure is one of Australia's leading telecommunications contracting services companies, specializing in the design, build, supply, and maintenance of wireless and copper networks.
We work with some of the region's top operators, providing infrastructure solutions for major projects including 5G, IBC, Microwave Radio, Fibre, Data, and Transmission networks.
The Role: We are currently looking for a skilled Team Lead Technician to join our team on a permanent basis.
This role involves working on major rollouts for national carriers and PTA rail corridors, where you will lead a team responsible for the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of critical telecommunications infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities: Lead a team in the full installation, upgrade, and commissioning of mobile infrastructure equipment such as RBS's, fibre connections, and RF components.Work on IBC/DAS builds, transmission networks, including microwave installation, commissioning, testing, and fault finding.Perform DC power rack installation and commissioning.Read, interpret, and implement technical design documents and install equipment as per the design specifications.Conduct testing of RF systems for RL, DTF, VSWR, and PIM as required.Troubleshoot, fault-find, and diagnose technical issues on-site, ensuring all aspects of handover documentation are completed.Report technical issues and progress to Project Managers/Engineers.Mentor and lead your team, promoting a collaborative and positive work environment.Ensure high-quality workmanship, adhering to safety standards and compliance documentation.To be considered for this role, you will need: Ability to work at heights.Willingness to travel and work in regional areas and other states.Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage work in a timely, professional manner.Valid Construction White Card.Current Driver's License.Highly Desirable: Experience working in PTA rail corridors.Rail Industry Worker (RIW) Card.Willingness to progress and be trained as a PTA Supervisor.Work Safely at Heights Certificate and Tower Rescue qualifications.Competency with Elevated Work Platforms (EWP) and scissor lifts.First Aid Certificate.Benefits We Offer: Exciting career development opportunities with a forward-thinking company.A supportive and collaborative team environment.Competitive salary + superannuation.Overtime and allowances.If you're a dedicated telecommunications professional looking for a challenging and rewarding career, we'd love to hear from you!
