Job DescriptionAs a key member of our teams, you will utilise your expertise in installing, testing, and commissioning fibre optic and copper cabling infrastructure for our clients. The day-to-day roles also involve deploying and decommissioning enterprise ICT and computer equipment, including server cabinets and racks. Proficiency in cable management, encompassing containment baskets/trays and ducting, is essential.
Working alongside other accomplished technicians, you'll get the opportunity to play a pivotal role in mentoring and training apprentices, fostering their hands-on development. With strong communication skills, you will be an invaluable member of the team, as you liaise with clients and collaborate within our fast-paced, growing environment.
About You You will:
Have your current white card and ACMA cabling licence, with endorsements in structured and fibre optics.For Electricians applying, you will hold a current Electrical licence valid for NSW.Bring experience in technical telecommunications, specialising in fit outs and advanced fibre optic installations.Hold a NV1 security clearance (highly preferred)or be willing and able to undergo this clearance upon employment.Be confident in working with servers, networking equipment, routers, switches, cooling units and WiFi. Experience in cable patching would be highly regarded.Excel in both collaborative team environments and in working independently.Showcase proactive problem-solving skills, exceptional attention to detail and always have focus on health, safety, environment and quality.What's in it for you?
