We are seeking an experienced Telecommunications Technician to join our dynamic team at the Malaga office in Western Australia. Reporting to the team leader of the rigging crew, you will be working alongside riggers as the ground team member in the installation and maintenance of telecommunications network systems.
Duties will include: Providing installations, moves, additions, changes, maintenance and repair support for customer Telecommunications equipment and systemsInstallations and maintenance of Radio Network systemsInstallation and maintenance of Mobile Data Networks; Installation and maintenance of broadcast, radio, cellular, Wi-Fi, digital networksConducting line of sight surveysEnsuring all tasks are good quality workmanship and SLA's are metInspecting completed works and observe operations, to ensure conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with operational and safety standardsEnsuring that all company supplied vehicles, test equipment, tools and PPE are taken care of and maintained in a serviceable conditionAssisting a small team of Technicians / Riggers to perform installation or maintenance activities with the highest efficiency, productivity and quality.To be considered for this role you need: An unwavering commitment to safe working practicesPrevious experience in the telecommunications industryA degree or diploma certification with a telecommunications or electrical engineering will be highly regardedTelecommunications Cabling Licence, or commitment to obtaining a licence as directed with fibre endorsement highly desirableIndustry Construction White CardAustralian Drivers License for a manual vehicleKnowledge of Installation and maintenance of antenna and feeder cables on monopoles, roof tops and towersWhy Choose Decon Corporation: Unparalleled Career Growth: At Decon, we believe in investing in our employees' professional development.
