PRIMARY OBJECTIVE
Install and maintain Power and Water Corporation's telecommunications systems and ancillary electronic equipment throughout the Northern
Territory in an efficient and effective manner.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The "WHAT" to be delivered
Provide technical expertise relating to the efficient installation, operation and maintenance of the Corporation's telecommunications systemsand other associated electronic equipment used throughout the Northern Territory, including participation in an on-call roster.
Plan, coordinate and undertake the day-to-day activities associated with the operation of telecommunications systems through the use ofinternal and external resources within time and budget constraints, whilst maintaining a safe and tidy work environment.
Develop and maintain work instructions, procedures and technical records as required for the efficient operation of the workgroup.
Contributeto the sharing of knowledge within the team.
Participation in training activities to meet organisational requirements, including the development and supervision of apprentices.COMPETENCY PROFILE
