We are seeking an experienced Telecommunications Rigger to join our dynamic team at the Malaga Office in Western Australia. Responsibilities: Your role will see you carrying out all rigging works on telecommunications installation sites. You will be working at heights, as part of a team.
What you'll do: Expert Installations: Oversee the installation, testing, and maintenance of critical telecommunications equipment on high structures, including radio towers. Technical Prowess: Assess installation requirements, plan and execute flawless deployments, and ensure adherence to client and industry specifications, standards, and HSE guidelines. Precision and Troubleshooting: Analyse and interpret construction drawings and as-built documentation to guarantee high-quality project completion. Identify and rectify equipment malfunctions using advanced instruments. Documentation Champion: Maintain accurate and timely job coding and paperwork submission to head office, including relevant completion reports and photographic documentation. Collaboration and Coordination: Foster strong relationships and seamless communication with project managers, technicians, and other contractors to ensure project success. Who you are: A champion of HSE work practices, ensuring everyone goes home safely. Someone with strong telecommunications industry experience, with solid knowledge of rigging in both the construction and mobile industry A problem-solver, with proficiency in the identification of faults in telecommunications equipment using instruments such as site master and Pim tester equipment. Someone who masterfully manages their time, juggling deadlines with ease. A well-versed professional, with a solid knowledge in the use and selection of the correct, specific equipment for rigging works (including but not limited to pullies, winches, blocks etc.), depending on the project requirements (load weights and sizes, facilities and work schedules) What you'll bring: Physical strength and agility sufficient to perform the work required A positive and enthusiastic, 'can do' attitude Current Certificate in Rigging (Basic, Intermediate or Advanced) Work Safely At Heights Certificate Licence to Perform High Risk Work Competency based qualification and experience with Elevated Work Platforms (EWP) First Aid Certificate Construction White card Why Choose Decon Corporation: Unparalleled Career Growth: At Decon, we believe in investing in our employees' professional development.
