A leader in the Korean rail industry, HRC has succeeded in developing high-speed trains and is now establishing their presence in the Australian market.
Currently, the Australian operation of HRC is working on two major projects:
The New Intercity Fleet (NIF) Project - a joint venture between HRC, UGL and MEA, delivering a fleet of new intercity trains for operation in the NSW electrified rail network.The Queensland Train Manufacturing Program (QTMP) - a project commissioning, designing and constructing a new manufacturing facility in Torbanlea QLD and a new maintenance facility in Ormeau QLD.Combined local and international design teams and suppliers will work together to ensure the delivery of manufacturing requirements and associated documentation to ensure that train sets locally manufactured in Australia meet the design, compliance, manufacturability, reliability, maintainability and safety specifications for the trains operational life for a minimum of at least 35 years.

The Role Overview In this role, you will lead the CES (Communications, Entertainment & Security) package with customers (Transport Main Road, Queensland Rail, Downer), and share and manage feedback as an Integration Lead.
Key Responsibilities Lead the CES (Communications, Entertainment & Security) package with customers and manage feedback as an Integration Lead.Lead Stakeholder Engagement during Design Phase and manage external interface and train DNA.Discuss and close-out technical comments with the customer.Support technical content specifications in the Design Package.Support Train Integration and receive feedback from SMEs to support integration leads.Provide support from the design package to the PE (Project Engineer) and TD (Technical Director) on a regular basis.Ensure design progress according to the schedule.Manage design requirements and workshops from Downer (State/QR) train DNA transmitted through OMG.Qualifications, Experience and Skills Requirements Tertiary University Qualifications Bachelor of Engineering (Electronics, Electrical, Software, Telecommunications or Mechatronics Engineering).5+ years experience in rolling stock Telecommunications (ICT), systems design, manufacturing, installation, reliability or maintenance.Understanding of rolling stock subsystems design process and submission requirements.Understanding of functional and logical programming, and cybersecurity requirements.Familiar with Australian and International Rolling Stock, Engineering Standards and Legislation.Familiar with software certification process based on international standards.Ability to develop and review functional and operational diagrams and schematics.Ability to work on project design schedule and produce design progress reports.High level of written and verbal communication skills in English.High proficiency level of computer skills in Microsoft Office.How to Apply Applications must be submitted online via the 'Quick Apply' button.
