Job Description - Telecommunications Design Engineer – EOI (261621)UGL is an employer with a difference, jump on board and experience our incredible journey.About the roleUGL's Engineering business is expecting significant growth in 2025 as we support major Rail and Tunnel Infrastructure Projects.
As a result, we have an Expression of Interest open for the following roles:Discipline Lead Engineer – ROSDiscipline Lead Engineer – TelecomsTelecommunications Design EngineerThe Telecommunications Engineer's role is to specialise in designing, installing, configuring, and maintaining communication systems which may involve various networks like WAN, LAN, 4G, 5G, and Digital Radio.About YouExperience in Radio System Designs, preferable experience with PMR, Mobile Systems, or Broadcasting Systems.Strong communication skills (oral & written) including strong negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally.Must have an Australian Driver Licence.Proficient skills in computers: MS Word, Excel, email.Experience gained in the rail, automotive, military, Defence, avionics, or any other safety-critical environment.UGL – Big projects.
