WA Country Health Service (WACHS) Data & Digital Innovation are seeking two (2) suitably experienced Telecommunications Coordinators to join their team! This is a Recruitment Pool for Fixed Term Full Time for 6 months with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency being used to fill vacancies across regional WACHS locations. There are (2) Fixed Term Full Time positions available and the pool will be used to fill similar vacancies across regional WACHS locations.
Wheatbelt position location options are Northam, Narrogin or Merredin.Goldfields position location options are Kalgoorlie or Esperance.Suitable applicants will be placed in a pool from which appointments may be made when similar vacancies occur.
Appointments may be made from this pool until 31/12/2025.
Position Profile: Responsible for the installation, administration and delivery of the regional telecommunications infrastructure, systems and services.
These services include telephony fixed and mobile accounts, paging, messaging solutions, and network infrastructure.
Responsible for coordinating the procurement, maintenance and repairs of telecommunications and maintaining a register for all telecommunications equipment for the region.
This is a customer-facing role providing telecommunication advice and support, troubleshooting and configuring telecommunication solutions that support critical health care services.
Eligibility: To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments).
Other Conditions: WA Health engages staff in positions of trust and responsibility.
WA Health policies require applicants to undertake criminal records screening and integrity checking as part of the appointment process.
Referees may also be asked to comment on an applicant's integrity and past demonstration of ethical behaviour.
Please note this recruitment process requires completion of a satisfactory Pre-Employment Health Assessment (PEHA).
Any offer of employment with WACHS is conditional on satisfactory PEHA to ensure you are able to perform the inherent requirements of the position.
An unsatisfactory PEHA will result in the offer of employment being withdrawn.
