Rubix is URGENTLY seeking skilled Telecommunication Riggers to join our leading clients with multiple major projects. These projects involve working with various carriers across mobile and broadcast initiatives throughout Australia!
Telecommunication Rigger Responsibilities:Upgrading and modifying existing wireless telecommunications sites, including mobile and broadcast systems.Performing work at heights and installing mobile/broadcast antenna systems, Remote Radio Units (RRUs), feeders, and Microwave Links.Installing and erecting steelwork, monopoles, towers, etc., as required.Conducting PIM testing, sweep testing, distance to fault analysis, terminating feeders, bird-proofing, and waterproofing connectors.Installing and maintaining antenna and feeder cables on monopoles and towers.Checking, maintaining, and operating equipment in compliance with safety, efficiency, and calibration procedures.Undertaking rigging and general tasks as assigned by the company, including site constructibility inspections that may involve identifying gaps and scope changes.Requirements:Proven experience as a TELECOMMUNICATIONS rigger.Possession of a current Certificate in Rigging (Basic minimum).Familiarity with earthing requirements.Working at heights certification and Tower Rescue certification, with the ability to comfortably operate at heights regularly (e.g., climbing up to 80 meters).Previous climbing experience is essential.Solid knowledge of telecommunication rigging techniques and adherence to best practices.RadHaz EME Awareness.MR or HR License preferred.MUST HAVE:Proven experience as a Telecommunication Rigger in the fixed-wireless industry.Valid Driver's License.ACMA License (Open Cabling Ticket), Current First Aid, and CPR Certificates.Construction White Card, RF/EME Awareness, Working at Heights knowledge.Experience in wireless telecommunications.Strong computer and communication skills.Understanding of quality control, HSE practices, SWMS, JHA's, and MOP's.Certificate in Telecommunications.All candidates must hold full working rights in Australia.If you are interested in these roles or have any further questions PLEASE don't hesitate to contact Courtney on .
